My singing kids November 6, 2008

I love to sing. I’m number one fan of singing in Karaoke but just at home. I don’t have the nerve to expose my voice in public. But, in online world, I feel that it’s just fine because lots of online users don’t know me in person anyway. Since I have the passion in singing and in music it was inherited by my children. They love to sing as well and as early as three years old my son Jarred knows already how to sing and memorize some lines of a song. He can’t read yet but he can follow the tune of the music. I can sense that he has the key to develop more because he has a good voice. You know what was the first song he learned to sing? Its “Only You” of the Platters which was revived by Sam Milby. That was the start of him singing when he heard Sam Milby in a drama series in the Philippine television. As I’ve mentioned before, we bought Magic Sing, a singing karaoke apparatus. We almost completed the chips when we were in the Philippines. During sometimes of weekends, we just spent our time singing with our kids choosing songs randomly. Hubby loves to sing but forget about it. He tried so hard and whatever lol. Here’s my son Jarred with the song “Eternal Flame”. He’s trying to master it and he’s almost there.

My son Jover with his version of “Million Miles Away” Not so tough but he’s trying.

Happy Holiday November 4, 2008

We had a quite long holiday. Yesterday no class because it’s Curriculum Day and now is Melbourne Cup Day.
At least kids had a long rest and tomorrow back to school again. Last Friday was their last day of Swimming lessons and they were really having fun on that day because there were some special games implemented by the staff of Harold Holts. My son had told me lots of stories about it and gosh can’t stop his mouth. The day before the last of of their swimming lesson I went with them and I recorded some videos. Do you want to see? Are you sure? Ok no problem lol :D

It’s my son’s 8th Birthday today September 19, 2008

Yes it’s my son’s birthday today, my eldest son. Time flies so fast. The super cutie, big eyes, fair and little boy that I was carrying 8 years ago is not a baby anymore. He’s a big boy now. Today’s event makes my day busy. Waking up early to greet him before he goes to school. Prepare the loot bags for his classmates. After all, me and hubby went out to buy a gift for him. I was planning to give him a bike for his birthday anyway three weeks ago. We went to the nearest bicycle shop and bought him a BMX type of bike. After buying the bike we had lunch at Nandos then decide to go home. We got a problem on our way home. We can’t ride a trams because they don’t allow bikes inside the trams. We had no choice but to walk 3 kilometers. Another option is to call a cab and pay 30 dollars. I ignore the idea of paying and I insisted to just walk. It’s a good exercise. The weather is nice and when I get tired I just ride my son’s bike. Funny because I only ride on it when nobody’s around us looking or following us,  because I’m ashamed that people might said, “she’s riding a kids bike hahaha. But anyway it’s not that bad. Just once in a while and besides, I look like a kid…joke!
We reached home 1pm because we dropped by at Safeway grocery. We rest for an hour and then prepare to go to school for my son’s celebration. They’re having fun with the simple cake sharing and loot bags. I see my son is happy and he shared the cake to all the teachers of all levels.
Today is also the last day of school for term 3 and they’re going to have a two weeks vacation. I’ll be busy for two weeks looking after them. And tomorrow, I think I’ll be busy again because my son’s girlfriend and classmate is coming to our house. Children here used to visit classmates and friends houses. Spend some hours and play. It’s our first time to have a weekend visitor from my son’s classmates. My son’s already visit a friend’s house before. We’ll see what it’s gonna be tomorrow.
Back to the real topic lol. I made a slideshow for my son. I was a little emotional when I watched it and even Daddy. We don’t know why.. or maybe we just realize how far we’d go and now we’re gonna have a teenager soon. HAPPY BIRTHDAY SON. WE LOVE YOU SO MUCH AND PLEASE CONTINUE TO BE NICE AND KIND BOY. GODBLESS YOU ALWAYS. PRAYING FOR MORE BIRTHDAYS TO COME AND ALL GOOD THINGS FOR YOU.

Watch my first creation…especially for my son “JOVER”

Glen Huntly Primary School’s annual cabaret was held last Thurday, 7th August 2008, at the Kingston City Town Hall, Moorabbin. And of course my kids were very excited as they were participating in the dancing and singing group. It’s nice to see them performing and enjoyed the event. It was a wonderful night of music and entertainment.A lot of talented Kids were performing like playing Piano, recorder(flute) and many more.

This first video is the Prep performance. My Jarred is one of them He looked so funny because of his very nasty movement.
