I’m so happy and proud for my son Jarred for receiving an award as student of the week. Every week the school is picking students from Prep to Grade six to be awarded every Monday during the morning assembly by the principal.
His award is about reading ability. Every night I’m listening to him reading the readers that was sent from the school. I’m just correcting him if there are words that he can’t read clearly and I can say that he is learning so fast. He is a very talkative little boy. That’s what his teachers told us last semester and yesterday with the parents teachers interview. He really wants to voice out whatever emotions he had but tolerable this time.
About the award I wasn’t able to take picture on him during the Monday Assembly because I really don’t have idea that he will be receiving an award as it was not written on the weekly newsletter last week. Only my older son Jover told me that Jarred received an award during the assembly. The school forgot it. Too bad that I wasn’t there at that moment. Oh well, the most important thing is that my Jarred is doing great in school even if we’re just newly moved out from our country and to think that he’s just five years old age. Keep up the good work son and we’re proud of you.

Fren, Congrats to you and your kid. You should be very proud of him.
