Today is holiday here in Aussie. It’s Anzac Day. I never know there’s such holiday like this. According to Wikipedia, Anzac Day is commemorated by Australia and New Zealand on 25 April every year to remember members of the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps (ANZAC). It is probably Australia’s most important national occasion. It marks the anniversary of the first major military action fought by Australian and New Zealand forces during the First World War. The soldiers in those forces quickly became known as ANZACs, and the pride they soon took in that name endures to this day.
We went to the City today and had our lunch there. After that we go for a one hour river cruise. It was fun and exciting riding the boat. We had a chance to watch the whole view of the Yarra River. Taking pictures and video on it. Kids were having fun too. 45 bucks for the whole family. Hmmm not bad isn’t it? I will post the photos and video soon.
After the one hour river cruise we went to Birrarung Mar Park. The kids were fascinated with the bungee jumping for kids. It has trampoline and bungee jumping cord. While waiting for their turn and be finished me and our little boy went to buy some snacks. I just bought vanilla soft serve ice cream and chips. We ate while waiting for them. Try to dip the chips or French fries in the ice cream because you will love it as I always do.
